The buildings act as an exclusive holiday facility and include business rooms, cafes, gym/spa and a signature restaurant and bar.
In addition there is a mid-height leisure deck with reception at ground and pool and car parking at basement level. The substructure and primary structure of the frame are reinforced concrete and the skin consists of a translucent stone veneer or a structural glass carrying system.
Fluid are currently preparing design documentation with Make Architects (who are led by Ken Shuttleworth) an internationally famous Architect. The structural work will require the successful marriage of the insitu concrete elements cast to tight tolerances with the prefabricated curved skin cladding.
