St. Edmund’s Terrace

The project involved the construction of a new build 5 storey residential block plus basement level car parking.

The site is located in North London adjacent to Barrow Hill Reservoir and has a significant number of Thames Water services crossing the site. The substructure design requires a consideration of the existing services, ring mains, etc. and the justification that the proposed works will not adversely affect the existing services.

It provides in excess of 120,000 square foot of residential accommodation. The building is visually permeable and articulated into distinct elements to reduce the impression of height and bulk, meeting the requirements of sunlight and daylight studies.
