Reiss, Los Angeles

The facade work involved the design of an external facade screen for the new Reiss store in Los Angeles.

The screen consisted of toughened laminated glass with a screen printed dot matrix to restrict the solar gain into the shop front and create a semi intimate space.

The glass was supported on a steel frame set back to create a flush external finish. The load was transferred to the frame using countersunk bolt fixings which were designed to be adjustable were they connected onto the steel support frame.
