Private Hospital, Weymouth Street

Fluid Structures were appointed by Howard de Walden Estates, one of central London’s most prestigious landlords to assist in the multimillion pound extension and conversion of these commercial and residential premises in London W1.

Located close to Harley Street, the majority of the buildings were being fundamentally restructured to suit the requirements of a new private hospital, whilst the smaller part adjacent was being extended at roof level to provide a new luxury penthouse apartment. Close working with the landlord and tenant was necessary to ensure the requirements of both were met, within the constraints of the existing building footprint and elegant Victorian facades.
