The site adjoins a London Underground train tunnel and was an area of high archaeological interest that included an old underground Roman road. Lengthy negotiations were required with LUL whereby the construction of the building had to be computer modelled to prove that it would not be detrimental to the LUL asset.

The project also involved a ground breaking Corian rain screen cladding system for the front building with the glass tower to the rear. The scheme involves the use of LED lighting behind the facade allowing the building to be colour changed by a computer controlled dimming system.
