Huttons Farm

This private residence is a traditional Chiltern’s Farm complex consisting of a number of early Nineteenth Century timber barns surrounding a brick and flint farmhouse. It is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The dome roof of this residential development was an important architectural feature of the scheme. Fluid was engaged to design both the timber structure and the laminated glazing which is held on the timber frame on stainless steel fixings.

The dome is supported on laminated cigar shaped oak columns and the dome marks out the entrance and circulation routes for the building complex.
