The project involved the construction of new mezzanine cafe spaces in the Three Crown Square site which sits adjacent to Network Rail’s Thames Link Borough viaduct. The structural solution involved supporting the new structures on existing buildings, new piled footings and new basement structures whilst studiously avoiding the substructure works associated with the Network Rail project.

Fluid’s scheme was advanced in liaison with Network Rail engineers Atkins so as to ensure that there would be no objections to our engineering proposals.
