The project concept was for a new two-storey building which would house the Aylesbury New Deal for Communities’ (ANDC) offices, access and information centre. The brief was for it to become a focal point for residents, hosting exhibitions and public consultations as the redevelopment progresses.

The key to the timber clad design was sustainability as the majority of materials to be used will be reusable, recyclable or have recycled content and have low embodied energy.
