Aldgate Gyratory Pavilion

Fluid are excited to be working with Make Architects on the design and development of the new Aldgate Gyratory Pavilion for the City of London.

The reconfiguration of the Aldgate Gyratory system will create a new public space, the pavilion will be sited at the north end of the park to provide a community space. It will also include a visitor’s centre, café with back of house facilities including stores, staff facilities and toilets. The concept that Make has developed is the pavilion as a piece of origami made up of a series of planes draped on to the square with a high degree of transparency between the solid planes.
