This project entails a striking contemporary house, circa 500 sqm, constructed in the Surrey Hills making full use of the sloping site. The construction features Iroko glulam-timber incorporated into traditiional load-bearing masonry construction whilst the dramatic cantilevered roof and structural spaces are achieved with the assistance of structural steelwork. Other features include a large outdoor pool and solar thermal heating from roof top panels on an independent steel frame.
