Fluid took part in an architectural competition (Europan) to design a new housing scheme in Oldham. The submission involved a careful study of the urban requirements of the site, the street and the circulation. In addition, due consideration was given to the development of a contemporary vernacular using timber and masonry for the construction, but with modern techniques of assembly.
