The project involved the construction of a tall (8.5 metres) masonry wall. The wall acts as the spine of a residential building and is also a storage facility and allows for integration of services. The accommodation consists of 4 timber-framed (max insulation) wings, which are clipped to the spine wall that is L-shaped on plan. The brickwork was stack-bonded with thin bed resin mortar and also post tensioned.
