This is an extension to a listed detached cottage surrounded by office developments in the Victoria area of London. The modernist extension is a contrast to the existing building, yet complementing its Georgian simplicity. Essentially a steel frame with masonry cladding panels, timber roof and glass clear storey windows and large concealed sliding doors. Inside the existing building has been refurbished, opened up and a simple staircase inserted.
