The first phase of this project was a refurbishment of the internal spaces of the Design Centre and the second phase is a more radical structural intervention. In phase two, the existing buildings will be extended and a new adjoining building constructed. The project also involves the construction of a four-storey exhibition building and new glass retail kiosks in the avenue between the Design Centre and the existing office buildings.
