Savill Rose Gardens

The design provides responses to an original brief aimed at producing a new scheme for the existing Rose Garden within the Savill Garden, Windsor Great Park. The sculpted timber clad curved walkway was constructed using a covered steel sub-frame, with its dramatic cantilevered nose visible above the centre of the bed of roses. This last section will be a grille structure cantilevered over the centre of the garden to allow the rose perfume to percolate freely around the visitors and the viewers to be immersed in both the colour and the scent of the roses.

The Rose Garden was formally opened by HM Queen Elizabeth II
